Opened in 1995, the Chinggis Khaan Hotel is the first international 4 star expansive hotel in Mongolia. The historic hotel is still the largest hotel in terms of grounds and is surrounded by lush greenery in the warmer months offering 176 rooms, newly renovated banquet halls, large conference halls, spa and fitness, and 115 parking spaces. The Chinggis Khaan hotel has been the preferred choice of stay for leading foreign delegates and notable guests, including the Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe, Richard Gere, to the Dalai Lama.
The hotel is a member of the Japan Association of Travel Agents (JATA), an association sanctioned by the Minister of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism based on the Travel Agency Law, the Japan Association of Travel Agents (JATA) seeks to improve the quality of services provided to travelers to and from Japan. Prior global memberships include Preferred Hotels & Resorts based in Newport Beach, California and the American Hotel and Lodging Association (AHLA).
